- Owns quality management/tracking within Engineering and is the quality case owner (QCO)
- Actively monitors and analyses Engineering quality and resolves quality issues via systematic root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Establishes measures to improve the Engineering output (drawings, BOMs, …) quality
- Identifies systematic gaps/potentials on products, quality improvement capabilities and the quality management system itself
- Tracks all Engineering relevant KPIs (development milestones, feasibility analysis, technical modifications, problem reports, …)
- Moderates and documents all Engineering relevant 8D reports
- Drives Engineering quality related RCCAs
- Tracks relevant NCIs and NCEs within Engineering
- Collaborates in cross-functional quality reviews, dispositioning and RCCA reviews and takes part in development and implementation of quality standards, methods and procedures
- Contributes to Engineering standards definition
- Assures compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality requirements and to meet or exceed our quality objectives

Your future responsibilities
- Lead and develop the MMT Research Unit: Manage and grow the MMT unit (10-15 researchers) within the Microsystem division.
- Personnel leadership: Oversee personnel management, provide supervision and mentorship fostering a collaborative, productive, and inspiring environment.
- Strategic representation and networking: Represent the unit internally and build external partnerships with academia and industry to enhance visibility and impact.
- Project acquisition and corporate responsibility: Drive project acquisition with international partners, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and financial sustainability.
- Research program and portfolio development: Shape the unit’s research strategy and create a balanced project portfolio in coordination with the Head of Research Division Microsytem Technologies.

- Work with our instructional designers and semiconductor equipment subject-matter experts to develop accurate and scalable mixed reality training scenarios
- Work with industry-standard software toolsets to develop scalable, VR-ready 3D CAD models based on our internal CAD equipment models
- Develop a successful and obtainable workflow from the CAD environment to the final VR-based project
- Assist with annual updates to existing VR modules to ensure accuracy
- Establish and maintain a library of VR-ready models and re-usable VR-specific code and scenes
- Establish recommended mixed reality toolsets and best-known methods for future-proofing our development efforts
- Troubleshoot VR hardware/software end-user issues in the classroom at both local and global training centers
- Provide guidance and training to other internal VR developers

- Lead a team of Global Product Support engineers
- Manage to generate and release installation, maintenance, and upgrade procedures for new and existing hardware
- Establishes and maintains lines of communication with HW engineering and SW development on design, reliability, to solve product issues and production problems
- Resolve escalations and drive corrective actions with respective owners; Integrate common escalations into engineering programs to address recurring tool issues
- Ensure suppliers’ quality performance for consistent and reliable products
- Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish requirements and assure proper resourcing for tool installs, field upgrades. Contribute to design reviews to resolve hardware escalations.
- Generate and release installation, maintenance, and upgrade procedures for new and existing hardware.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact for field or regional technical hardware responses.
- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
- Ensure successful implementation of FIF products and CIP retrofits, including coordination of unreleased hardware documentation
- Support field readiness deliverables and develop supporting documentation such as maintenance procedures and training materials
- Execute projects for product development/improvement, product quality, and customer support
- Support for new products and continuously improved Beta versions; Collect customer data and feedback during beta evaluations and report lessons learned
- Participate in program and product audits to ensure product safety and compliance
- Work with Technical Publications on documentation templates and processes for document release
- Frequent customer business visits

In your career, let’s prove what’s possible.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, ISD, or a related field, from an accredited
- college or university.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the following experience will also be considered:
- 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry; or,
- Working on large capital equipment performing ISD; or,
- Prior military experience developing and designing training curriculum
- Former curriculum developers/faculty staff members with experience working on and / or teaching semiconductor capital equipment.
- 3 years of experience in media development, publishing and content management.
- Adobe eLearning Suite (Adobe Captivate and Story Line); TechSmith Camtasia
- 3 years of experience conducting classroom learning sessions, seminars, or workshops.
