Job description
In your new job you will:
- Define target product specifications of SiC JFET variants for hotswap, Oring, protection switch and circuit breaker applications
- Be the main technical interface to the development and go-to-market teams during the product development and post product launch stages respectively
- Develop application evaluation platforms for product validation and customer promotion
- Perform measurements based on fit for use plan to validate the suitability of SiC JFET based solutions in applications environment and document the relevant results
- Run performance benchmarking tests of internal and external products
- Prepare the product datasheets; develop product and application literature such as application notes, technical articles, promotion material, webinars etc.
- Provide global product support for the customer design-in projects
- Run simulations to replicate real application use scenarios and derive analyses
- Cascade customer feedback to internal development teams
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field; an advanced degree is preferred and can be substituted for lack of industry experience
- Prior experience with WBG (SiC or GaN) applications is preferred
- Solid understanding of power transistor (MOSFET, JFET, HEMT) operation
- 5+ years of experience in design, development and/or test of converters, is desired
- Experience with simulation (Simetrix, Spice, PLECS) and layout (Altium, Eagle) software
- Knowledge of interpreting power MOSFET product datasheet parameters. Datasheet creation background is a plus
- Experience in technical customer support. Excellent English-speaking ability and German-speaking skill as a plus
- Good laboratory, problem solving, multi-tasking and effective presentation skills
- Willingness to learn on the job and travel up to 15% of the time
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. When staffed in Austria, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
