At KAI, we create reliability test methods and systems. For an existing reliability test system architecture, we plan to extend the functionality and improve the global monitoring capabilities. Therefore, we are looking for a talented individual for web application software design, with a strong focus on PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. This means you will need to perform dedicated tasks:
- Design and implementation of modular software components for the data storage and monitoring applications
- Implementing and supporting APIs and client libraries
- Discuss and evaluate upstream platform architecture
- Direct interaction with our in-house customers
- Documentation of source code and processes
You have completed a
HTL / bachelor’s or master’s degree covering the area of Technical Informatics/Computer Engineering/Electronic Engineering with a strong ambition for highly performant software systems. With your hands-on mentality you like to bring ideas to life. You can also offer:
- Solid expertise with PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, object-oriented programming, design patterns
- Experience with Linux and familiarity with the command line
- Knowledge of engineering best-practices such as code style guides, git workflows
- Familiarity with using APIs (e.g. REST), frameworks (esp. Laravel) and libraries
- A structured and precise working style
- Experience with no-SQL databases and CI/CD workflows is a plus
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-wages-blue-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
