KI-KELAG International GmbH pools the international activities in the segments hydroelectric power, wind power and photovoltaics, as well as energy trading activities abroad of the Kelag Group, which is one of the leading energy service providers in Austria. We are looking for candidates to join our team at the location/headquarter in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee at the earliest-possible starting date, for the position

Automation Engineer (all genders)

Fulltime (38,5 hours/week)

Your future tasks in our team:

  • Develop and implement the international SCADA System Project
  • Support in the further development of internal group standards in automation
  • Develop and harmonize operational data management system
  • Coordination and implementation of requirements for Information Security Management System (ISMS)

Your profile:

  • HTL completed technical school education (comparable to “Matura”) with minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience or comparable qualification with several years of relevant professional experience in automation, visualization and database systems
  • A sense of responsibility, a proactive, independent and reliable work style
  • Experience in project management in renewable energy or infrastructure projects is an additional asset
  • To show team spirit, to present a communicative and confident appearance 
  • To be fluent in English and German (written and spoken) 
  • MS-Office, MS-Project, Power BI skills, ideally basic Zenon knowledge
  • To be willing to travel and experienced in an international environment

We offer a gross salary starting at € 3,500 (full time) per month, as corresponds to the collective bargaining agreement for power supply companies (EVUs). Your remuneration is calculated according to your qualifications and work experience.
