We're seeking a visionary Senior Principal Engineer for R&D Digitalization (f/m/div), to join our team and spearhead the development of groundbreaking software applications for power semiconductor R&D. Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Be the product owner for strategic software and AI applications in GIP R&D
• As a business analyst, shape the application design towards maximum customer value using your domain knowledge about R&D processes
• Develop and coordinate digitalization strategies for GIP R&D
• Collaborate on the prioritization and implementation of Infineon's central R&D digitalization activities on behalf of GIP
• Drive Stakeholder management at VP level
• While not in a formal management role, you will provide thought leadership to development teams by guiding their work from a domain expert’s perspective, offer mentorship, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adherence to best practices

Your Profile
You have a unique blend of skills and personal competencies. This includes having a deep understanding and professional experience of power semiconductor R&D, digitalization technologies, such as cloud computing, data analytics, and AI, which enable you to develop innovative digital solutions. Additionally, you should have the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, influencing decision-making processes through strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree, preferably a PhD, in Electrical Engineering, Physics, IT, or a similar field, with a focus on semiconductors
• Minimum 10 years of extensive experience with proven domain knowledge of GIP development processes in the R&D areas T, GCO, and GEMS in order to speak the language of customers and be able to participate in discussions and contribute ideas
• The ability to translate customer requirements into technical software requirements as a product owner for strategic topics such as the Data Analysis Platform
• Strong collaboration competencies on strategic issues such as data standardization beyond GIP and to represent GIP positions in this area
• Experience in full-stack software development, especially Python, C#, cloud-native applications, databases, Docker, and DevOps
• Excellent English, as well as first German language skills 

Austria relevant:
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group K (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
