- Responsible for customer betas including installation, qualification, milestones, technical requirements, training and certification of local teams / customer
- Provides support to engineering and service products both at the factory and in the field
- Includes working in customer wafer fabrication sites / environments as required to fulfil the support function
- Creates and presents reports related to design, reliability, maintenance problems, SW bugs, projects and escalations to the relevant factory groups
- Creates and updates documentation for field service engineers and customers
- Support reported product issues by the field service engineers via problem reports
- Participates and leads as required Knowledge Management activities to share learning worldwide in order to expedite solutions, reduce repeat issues, escalations and improve cycle time closure
- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
- Represents Lam by creating material and expertly presenting technical findings to the customer
- Can take place at the factory or in the field depending on the need
- Can include travel at short notice (24 hours)
