- As a Material Program Manager, you act as the interface between a cross-functional program team focusing on the introduction of new products and the Supply Chain Organization
- In this role, you are accountable for establishing a Supply Chain for Lam’s new products that meets performance, cost, quality, capacity, and on-time-delivery requirements
- By applying your great communication skills, you provide fact-based guidance to the cross-functional program team, supporting them to make the right decisions & the program to succeed
- Form & lead cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies
- Proactively seek and maintain alignments with relevant stakeholders to support program needs and targets
- Execute new product’s cost analyses & cost tracking on a regular basis
- Identify, communicate and manage Supply Chain related program risks and prevent them from materializing
- Identify and execute material cost reduction opportunities utilizing should costing, benchmarking, cost driver analysis, functional cost analysis, etc.
- Provide recommendations for new supplier selection & evaluation
- Support our new products’ fast transition from Pilot to High Volume Manufacturing
- Identify critical path parts & implement measures enabling production to deliver to need date
- Present the status of your deliverables as well as continuous improvement activities in management reviews on a regular basis

- Sie stärken unser Procurement Team, unterstützen bei Verhandlungen, der Lieferantenauswahl und
- der strategischen Weiterentwicklung des Lieferantenportfolios.
- Sie managen RFQs – von Preisabschätzungen bis hin zu vollständigen Ausschreibungen – für lokale, regionale und globale Projekte.
- Sie treiben Optimierungs- und Sourcing Initiativen voran (Re Sourcing, Dual Sourcing, VA/VE, KPI 11 Maßnahmen) und erzielen dabei messbare Einsparungen.
- Sie führen Preis- und Vertragsverhandlungen, bereiten Sourcing Entscheidungen vor und begleiten Verträge über ihren gesamten Lebenszyklus.
- Sie übernehmen die Verantwortung für Freigaben und Änderungen von Materialien, Bauteilen und Werkzeugen – sowohl in Projekten als auch in der Serienproduktion.
- Sie steuern den Einkauf lokaler indirekter Bedarfe, inklusive Kostenoptimierungen im Bereich indirekter Materialien.
- Sie behalten Werkzeugstandzeiten und kapazitäten im Blick und verantworten die Beschaffung von Folgewerkzeugen.
- Sie arbeiten eng mit der lokalen Supply Chain zusammen und stellen reibungslose Abläufe entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette sicher.

- Joining a cross-functional team consisting of product managers, engineers, config engineers, production planner as well as SAP modeler
- Start, track progress and drive development tasks to release new products and/or product options
- Take over ownership and manage escalations from new product (option) release tasks till release
- Maintain POA (Product Option Architecture) owned documents and databases
- Define detailed SAP Variant Configurator (VC) change for the POA Modelling group
- Perform, report and document SAP VC testing for POA updates
