- You will be responsible for the design of new products and lifecycle management of existing electronic circuits.
- You will be responsible for component selection, design, development, testing and evaluation of control circuits for our machines.
- You will work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical, mechanical, software, technical support, productivity engineers, and suppliers, on the design, modification, of custom and OEM components.
- You will need to prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to assure that technical and operational requirements are met and properly demonstrated.
- You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of relevant material and data in preparation of your presentation at design, project, and program reviews.

- Is the lead engineer of a development program (product), making sure that mechanical and electrical hardware and the tool software work together to meet the system specification
- Owns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration options
- Is accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specification
- Assures that the system meets engineering- and compliance standards, especially in the concept and detailed design phases
- Owns BOM (bill of material) setup and execution of the documentation release plan
- Prepares all required program/product related Engineering deliverables (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses)
- Technical responsible that all interfaces for the entire product are well defined and working
- Participates in the cost allocation model and assures that designs meet the cost targets
- Owns developing the reliability allocation model, the reliability design approach and test plans

- Responsible for performing professional process engineering research, development and evaluation in semiconductor environment
- Reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of products including in-house lab demonstrations
- Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches
- Works with customer and senior engineers cross functionally to understand roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues/ challenges.
- Acts as customer technology manager in the planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Acts as single point of contact accountable for process related customer requests
- Drives introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites including new tool qualifications

- Support Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions
- Operate processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by process engineering teams to collect experiment results and to evaluate chemistry properties
- Process test runs and prepares records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas
- Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers
- Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups
