- develop and implement commodity strategy, including long range capacity planning for 3+ years into the future
- take material sourcing decisions and be accountable for performance against cost, quality, and lead time goals
- onboard new suppliers considering evaluation of capability, implementation of legal contracts, assessment of financial risks, establishment of performance reviews
- evaluate supplier reliability and develop new supply sources where vendors or suppliers are no longer competitive
- set improvement plans and follow up for results
- gather quotations, evaluate bids, and consider various supplier performance metrics to award business
- evaluate risk of ongoing availability of material, address obsolescence, and last time buys. Implement stocking strategies and contracts to mitigate future availability and supply chain risks
- forecast cost impacts, approve pricing changes, and negotiate cost reduction with suppliers
- interact with engineering, manufacturing, and other groups to understand cross functional impacts of design and manufacturing strategy decisions
- work cross functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Logistics and all groups involved to minimize supply chain disruptions

Hauptaufgaben
Sie steuern den strategischen und operativen Einkauf für internationale Maschinenbauprojekte. Dabei unterstützen Sie die Lieferantenauswahl, führen Preisverhandlungen und verantworten Vertragsgestaltung sowie Terminüberwachung. Sie analysieren Beschaffungsmärkte, optimieren Kosten, sichern Materialverfügbarkeit und entwickeln nachhaltige Lieferantenbeziehungen. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Logistik und Projektmanagement tragen Sie zur Effizienzsteigerung bei. Zudem identifizieren Sie Einsparpotenziale, entwickeln Beschaffungsstrategien weiter und wirken an der Optimierung interner Einkaufsprozesse mit.

Ihre Aufgaben:
- Durchführung von Ausschreibungen, Auswertungen und Verhandlungen sowie Vertragsgestaltung
- Eigenverantwortliche Preis- und Konditionsverhandlungen
- Durchführung periodischer Markt- und Kostenanalysen
- Supply-Chain-Management (Koordination, Integration und Harmonisierung von Abläufen in der Lieferkette), enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Disposition
- Pflege bestehender und Aufbau neuer Lieferantenbeziehungen
- Unterstützung bei Kostenoptimierungsprojekten
- Sicherstellung einer möglichst kostengünstigen Beschaffung, unter Anwendung der CBD-Analyse
- Strategisches Lieferantenmanagement
- Lieferantenaudits bzw. Abstimmungen von Audits mit QM oder EK im betreffenden Land

- Creation, modification and prioritization of sales and marketing plans, taking into account existing orders for the next 6 months and in consultation with the Supply Chain Engineer
- Implement allocation decisions in the case of production bottlenecks on the various production lines, including coordinating with Customer Logistics, Capacity Alignment Planner and Product Marketing
- Involvement and Monitoring of production schedule & plan adherence from FE and BE
- Management of excess inventories (incl. root-cause analysis & mitigation)
- Manage production requirements for the capacity groups including coordinating compliance with the capacity available to the respective division

- Coordinate and support investigation of key quality defects of components from the customers and/or field service team to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Drive the improvement of the suppliers’ quality and manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, cost, and on-time-delivery
- Act as liaison / technical lead for cross functional projects to include Build Verify and Production Readiness Review
- Audit and document supply base performance on critical process of records and overall quality management systems
- Collaborate on the continuous development of supply base through close teamwork with product management, global product group, and supplier business managers
- Leads, and is personally accountable for, high profile project timelines and milestones.
- Continuously working on process improvement and developing Best Known Methods
- Provide technical support in Build, Test and FQA to suppliers in product deployment and transition
- Perform Standardized Supplier Quality Audits and administer Supplier Quality Scorecard for existing suppliers to promote continuous improvement.
- Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action Analysis on defects and Escalations
