Job profile and tasks
- Scientific Leadership: Lead and coordinate research groups in the development and implementation of highquality, cutting‐edge projects in relevant technologies and innovative approaches in biodiversity research.
- Representation: Represent activities of the UNESCO Chair and the I.C.E.B. internally and externally, building strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and funding bodies.
- Academic Teaching: Deliver academic teaching in programs such as the Bachelor’s in Green Transition Engineering, the Master’s in Management of Conservation Areas.
- Independent Research: Dedicate 50% of your time to developing and implementing your own research projects, aligned with the goals of the UNESCO Chair and the I.C.E.B.
- Strategic Development: Secure funding and grants to support research activities and contribute to the longterm strategic vision of adapting, developing and testing new technologies for research in biodiversity and ecosystem services.

At a glance
- Be the go-to person of the digital verification for complex digital and mixed signal designs, providing hands-on expertise in digital verification, from building environments from scratch to leveraging existing flows
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of digital verification, including planning, tracking, and reporting, and ensure clear understanding of verification requirements through effective communication with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with and contribute to coordination of cross-functional teams, including concept, design, AMS verification, and post-silicon validation teams, to ensure high quality designs
- Focus on all-directions-reuse of the Verification Components to be implemented
- Identify and mitigate risks in dynamic projects, with proactive communication to the project team
- Drive the enhancement of existing verification methodologies and flows, drive required innovation projects and get buy-in from management
- Drive process and efficiency improvements, share your expertise to enable team growth, and inspire and mentor new lead verification engineers to help them succeed in their roles
- Identify and address synergies between digital and analog centric Pre-Silicon verification, and Post-Silicon validation
